Oily and Shiny Skin Fix : Innisfree No Sebum Powder – Review

For some of you oily skinned beauties, I’m sure your T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) must also be your trouble zone. Many a times, after using a sunscreen and going out in the sun, I have resembled a glowing and glistening (not in a nice way) disco ball.

Oily skinned people for many years have relied on handkerchief’s to keep their rather oily and shiny forehead in check. Now it is time for all the oily skinned beauties to move on to this amazing product – Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder

Innisfree No Sebum Powder

How to Apply

There are two ways that you can apply Innisfree No Sebum powder on to your face:

1. Use the Powder Puff: With the given powder puff, you can gently dab the product all over your face. This could leave you with dry patches on your skin – so it is advisable to  use a brush instead

2. With a Brush – Take some powder on your brush (powder or blush brush) and gently dust the powder all over your face. Do use a light hand while dusting it over your face

This is recommended just before stepping out – as the last step in your makeup or skincare routine. Or you can also use the sebum powder just before you put on your foundation – to ensure that your makeup lasts longer. Make sure you are using a good moisturiser that is suited for oily skin.

Results

In the image above, we have applied some oil on the hand on the left. The image on the the right is after we dust it with the Innisfree No sebum powder. As you can see, it completely soaks up the excess oil and leaves the skin with a matte air brushed look.

Now, you don’t need to worry about going out in the sun and getting oily. But, it does need touch up after a few hours (depending on your skin). So, do carry it along if you are going out for a longer period of time.

Price

It may look expensive, but at Rs 510, it is total value for money. Don’t be fooled by the small container. A little goes a long way. I use this 3-4 times a week. It has been more than 6 months and the container has around 25% of the product remaining.

MRP: Rs 510 for 5gm
